NASA Puerto Rico Space Grant Fellowship Program 2018-2019

The NASA Puerto Rico Space Grant Fellowship Program is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 academic year (subject to availability of funds).

Application Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship (evidence to be provided afterwards)
• Enrolled in Fall 2018 in an undergraduate or graduate program in PuertoRico: BS, BE, MS, PhD
• A minimum of 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale (transcript)
• Academic progress according to schedule (transcript)
• Cover Page (1 page – form provided)
• Statement of Professional Goals (1 page)
• Research Plan (3-5 pages) signed by applicant and researchadvisor. The Research Plan must contain the following parts:  Summary; Goals and Objectives; Relevance to NASA according to NASA Technology Roadmap(s); Collaboration(s) with NASA Center(s) or other National Lab(s); Milestones and Timeline for August 2018-May 2019; References Cited
• Curriculum Vitae (1-2 pages) including peer-reviewed publications, proceedings, and presentations in local, national and international conferences
• Two letters of recommendation (one from advisor)

Academic Year Stipend:	PhD $1,700 per month
	MS  $1,200 per month
	BS & BE $800 per month

 

Tuition Assistance: (per semester)	$1,500 for PhD and MS Students
	$1,000 for BS and BE Students
