Nació el 18 de junio de 1953 en Santurce, Puerto Rico. Estudió arte dramático y educación audiovisual en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Río Piedras. Debutó en el periodismo en 1978, en la radio emisora WKAQ. Desde entonces comenzó a pulir su capacidad investigativa y la producción de programas de opinión. Entró a Noticentro de Wapa, en 1980. Posteriormente, en el 1983, se integró al periódico El Reportero, trabajó en distintas estaciones de radio y tv incluyendo, Telemundo. En febrero de 1989 se reintegró al equipo de Noticentro, donde laboró hasta su partida.

Born on June 18, 1953, in Santurce, Puerto Rico. He studied drama and audiovisual education at the University of Puerto Rico. He made his journalism debut in 1978, on radio station WKAQ. Since then, he began to polish his investigative capacity and the production of opinion programs. He entered Noticentro de Wapa in 1980. Later, in 1983, he joined the newspaper El Reportero, worked at different radio stations and at Telemundo. In February 1989 he returned to the Noticentro team, where he worked until his departure.
