ARMY ROTC SCHOLARSHIPS<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Whether you\u2019re a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Army ROTC has scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded based on a student\u2019s merit and grades, not financial need.<\/p>\n

Army ROTC scholarships consist of:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Two-, three-, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree<\/li>\n
  • $12,000 per year for Room and board<\/li>\n
  • $1,200 per year for books and supplies<\/li>\n
  • $420 stipend per academic month for living expenses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Non-scholarship Cadets in ROTC advanced courses (3rd and 4th year) also qualify.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    \u201cSimultaneous\u201d means students who are at the same time:<\/p>

    • full-time college students (sophomore, junior, senior, or grad students)<\/li>
    • currently serving (or willing to enlist) in the USAR or ARNG<\/li>
    • enrolled in Army ROTC<\/li><\/ul>

      Upon college graduation, you will be commissioned as an officer in the Army, and have the option of either serving full-time on Active Duty, or part-time in the Army Reserves or Army National Guard.\u00a0<\/p>

      • Drill pay ($320.12)<\/li>
      • ROTC stipend ($420)<\/li>
      • GI Bill Kicker ($350)<\/li>
      • Officer training in your unit<\/li>
      • Non-deployable status\u2014your college education won\u2019t be interrupted by deployment<\/li><\/ul>
